Some Dirty Sticky Fun

We went to Dad's softball game and Zeke decided to get involved in all of the action. I think he decided things involving dirt and baseballs are definitely fun!

I decided it was time to introduce the sucker.

It was already WAY past Zeke's usually bedtime and he was filthy. So. . . we might as well introduce loads of sugar with no nutritional value.

What is this thing, Mama? Are you sure you put it in your mouth?

I starting to get this sucker thing figured out.

Success!

First Haircut

Zeke's hair was getting long.
It used to be cool and spiked, but the MN humidity won that battle. Now, it is just getting in his eyes.
So, Dad grabbed the scissors.
Mom grabbed the grapes.
We set off on this adventure together.

Man, beauty is tough work!

Really tough work

Fun on Ossawinnamakee Lake

Finally, more of our Montana adventure from May!
I got a pedicure with my mom and sister while the husbands and Grandpa took care of the kids.
Good stuff!

We got to spend time with our sweet niece Morgan.
She is quickly catching up to Zeke. She now weighs 16lbs at 4months and Zeke is 19.5lbs at 13 months. I can't wait to see them together again.

Ryan turned two and we all got to celebrate together.
The ice cream cake was cool, but the trucks on top might have been better.

We spend a few days at my parent's beautiful cabin in the mountains.
Definitely, my favorite place on earth.
Zeke got to try out the tepee.

The little boys joined the red hat society with Papa.

And we got to enjoy a beautiful hike in the Montana mountains.

Again, I say, good stuff.

Someone's turning . . .

You blessed up just a little bit early.
You looked cool in shades immediately.
Stripes used to make you look fat. . .

Now, you just look tall, dark, and handsome

_____________
Saying we love you just doesn't seem to
begin to illustrate or explain
how we feel about you.
I wish I was eloquent with my words, but I'm not.
But boy oh boy, do I sure love you little man!
_______________
thank you for the joy, fun, and laughter you have added to our home
each and every day. thanks for helping your dad and I begin to get a clearer picture of how deeply our Heavenly Father loves us.

And, on a side note, I don't recommend eating LOADS of your frozen wedding cake a year after your wedding if you are pregnant. Zeke must have not liked it as I went into labor late that night 5 weeks early. :)

And, now our little family!
God is good. :)
