Our Montana adventure update
Our travel to MT went great. . . thanks to an amazing husband who is able to drive through the night while both his son and wife slept.

We go in at 3am Sunday morning and was able to make it to the Lutheran Brethren Church that Danny used to work at.
Later that afternoon, we had a "reunion" of the group that Danny and I had met in called Crossroads. We have many treasured friendships and the group keep growing as everyone keeps having babies!

Unfortunately, the friend on the right still has not had her baby. I promise it will come Phil!

A bunch of the guys
I also got to hang out with my great friend Brooke from high school!
And, some special friends from my old job too.
So busy, but so awesome!

I can eat corn all by myself. . .
I can eat dirt all by myself. . .
I can climb down from the chair all by myself. . .

Off to Montana
I am SO excited! Today, we are taking off for Montana for an entire week!
We will get the chance to see my parents and my sister and her family. We will also be visiting lots of great friends and spending 4 days in the mountains enjoying God's beauty.
Can you tell I am a bit excited?
The trip, pre Zeke, usually takes 10 hours.
I will let you know the post Zeke trip time.

My knitting buddy
Knitting. . . I've been doing quite a bit of it lately.
Mostly, I have been making super easy dish clothes or baby washcloths. I even got brave and made a "blanket buddy" for my new niece Morgan.
But, my assistant again does not prove to be very helpful.
He loves the string so my neat ball of yarn becomes more like. . .

Thanks for your help Zeke.
I couldn't imagine knitting with a better little man.

I'm so proud of my team. They played hard and played great. It was a fun weekend in the cities with the added bonus of coming home with a 1st place medal!
Mrs. Minnesota even gave out the medals!!
Zeke got to try swimming. . . he thought the water was a little bit cold.
I was hoping he would be ready to try out his goggles and work on his butterfly.
Maybe next time.
But. . . he did enjoy crawling next to dad in the pool.

But, his favorite part might have been giving kisses to the super cute boy who stayed in the hotel room with us. I think he still might be looking for that boy. :)
